Year 3 heading into the new year energised and with a smile after yoga with Liane 

Year 1 enjoyed learning ‘London’s Burning’ in music and we thought of actions to go with the words. We even began to learn to sing in a round! 

Year 6 enjoyed their Taster Tennis Session today. Gary, the coach, was extremely impressed with our skills and how well we listened.  

We have enjoyed using our body language and facial expressions to show different feelings outside today in PSHE. 

Reception had a lovely session practicing their balancing skills with Jordan from Barrow AFC. 

We practiced dribbling with a partner and in teams.

Today we have been investigating pulleys, gears and levers 

We have been doing some amazing artwork using pastels ready to create our rainforest reading area.

We learned how to use an atlas. We found Brazil in the index then used the grid references to locate the capital city, the Amazon River and Amazon Rainforest.

Layering and ordering vectors in computing

Years 3 and 4 had lots of fun at our Christmas Part this morning. We had croissants, pain au chocolate and fruit then went into the hall for dancing and games. We even had a snowball fight!

Year 6 enjoyed having their Christmas dinner today.
