Art club really enjoyed finding out about Georges Seurat in our art club today They were concentrating really well and produced some great work. 

Lovely to start gardening after school again. Hopefully we will have some dry days to get outside 

Year 5 and 6 have been working together on projects for the Earthshot Prize. We will pick an idea and see where we can take it. 

We have been learning how to send emails to each other with information about the Stone Age 

We learnt how to wire up interactive screens then wired up Mrs Carter's and Mrs Hazzard's screens.

We also fixed Mrs Hazzard's remote control and worked out how to freeze the screen.

Year 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed making firework paintings today. We were very lucky to be joined by Mrs Wright also. 

Year one used lots of their enquiry and investigation skills to create a chair for the three bears to sit on. We loved learning about Goldilocks and the three bears and making it cross curricular. Well done Year One! 
 

We listened to (and joined in with) some brilliant stories!

Year 3 enjoyed a great morning of designing, building and evaluating their inventions to save Rapunzel from the tower. 

We have read Jack and the Beanstalk and talked about Jack's problem in the story that he may face. One problem is that he may drop a golden egg on the way down the beanstalk. So we designed and made landings for golden egg and tested them. Only 1 out of 4 eggs cracked!
