Whilst studying the topic of Japan, Year 3 have designed their own Kimono.

After reading 'The Shaman's Apprentice', we took one of the pages and created our own tableau - A freeze frame of a moment. We talked about what each character would be thinking. One character is thinking whether he should accept a gift from the other character.

We went to Ulverston Victoria High School to experience a day at secondary school. We did Maths and English, ICT and BPE (beliefs, philosophies and ethics). We had a go on the trampolines. In the afternoon we had double Science.

The children in Reception put on an amazing performance for our class assembly! The teachers and parents were so proud of each and every one of them. They delivered a full packed assembly with fascinating facts, singing and dancing! They even designed and created their own costumes. Well done…
