Selfie up a mountain!
Thank you year 3 and 4 for a wonderful day at the Coppermines yesterday.
Disco with a Difference.
On Thursday 3rd April the New Roosters PTA held a disco with a difference.
This was a huge success for all involved. Overall we raised £102 to go towards future school projects.
Weather measuring equipment
We have been making barometers and rain gauges to measure the weather. We made lots of rain gauges just in case!
Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Bunny left clues all over school for us to find our treats! More pictures in the gallery.
Some children mangaed to list directions for a figure to get the the centre of this maze. They used our Maths Vocabulary for this week: Clockwise, anti-clockwise, forward, whole turn, half turn, quarter turn and degrees!
Spot the angles
We created different hexagons and indentified the different angles we created. This shape has got all the different types of angles we have been looking at: right angle, acute angle, obtuse angle and reflex angle. Can you find them all?
Angles from the Realm of Year 3
If you look at the left thumb, she has used a ruler as a right angle checker to find a right angle in the book case.
Shakespeare Performance
Well done year 4 for a wonderful Shakespeare week which ended with a fantastic performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at Blackwell. I am very proud of you all. I have put all the photos in a gallery and look out for the pictures in the Evening Mail soon.
