A super exciting afternoon, learning about Ancient Greece and writing stories about it. 

Robin Price joined us this morning for a Stone Age Story Writing Workshop.

We have made models of the Solar System.

Author Robin Price came to our classroom and told us of some writing techniques when creating stories. 

We love using our "Doberries" to work in class. They are little electronic devices that we can answer questions on!

We had an amazing time during our Chinese New Year celebrations. We baked cakes, made Chinese stir fry and made Chinese envelopes which Mrs Redhead put chocolate coins in. We practised writing using Chinese symbols and drew and coloured the Chinese zodiac animals. We are now making some Chinese…

Year 4 have been taking part in Terrific Scientific, we have been looking at the number of fungiform papillae on each other's tongues, we have a few super tasters in this class!

We have had a fun day chopping vegetables, cooking stir fry, eating with chopsticks (kind of) and drinking jasmine tea. Happy Chinese New Year all

We really enjoyed learning about the culture and traditions of the Chinese New Year festival. We prepared all our banquet ourselves and it tasted delicious! 

We made the animals of the Chinese Calendar using Tangrams.

We have been writing stories in Chinese characters, making collage roosters and decorated cakes to celebrate Chinese New Year
