Red Watch came to school this morning to give us some top tips for bonfire night

  1. Stay a safe distance from the fire 
  2. Have a bucket of water handy in case you get burnt
  3. Be careful of floaty clothes
  4. If your clothes catch fire drop and roll
  5. Wear gloves if you're holding a sparkler
  6. Tie your hair back if you're holding a sparkler
  7. A responsible adult needs to set off fireworks then stand 8 metres away
  8. Never go back to  firework

We found out that firefighters need to get dressed in their kit in 30 seconds and then we all went outside to see the fire engine.
