Roose Primary School’s World Book Day 2017
Dear Parents,
To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March this week, we have organised a range of exciting activities and opportunities for the children and lessons will focus on celebrating our favourite books.
We would like the children to come dressed in their pyjamas or as a book character and bring with them a special bedtime story.
World Book Day £1 book tokens
Children will receive a special £1 book token for World Book Day. This can be exchanged for one of the specially written World Book Day £1 books at Waterstones in town and other book shops. It can also be used towards purchasing another book.
Your child will be involved in many activities in their class so please help us celebrate World Book Day by asking your child about some of the things they have done and enjoy sharing some books together at home!
If you have any questions about the events next week, please pop into school and ask either myself, Mrs Jacobs or your child’s teacher.
