Northern Ballet Workshop
Year 3 enjoyed the ballet workshop last week. They explored the ugly duckling and moving over, under and round and creating their own performance.

Tree planting with Heather of Art Gene
This week we started our tree planting workshops with Heather Pennick as part of the Art Gene programme running. We planted 2 apple trees and 11 cherry trees in our school field. It will take approximately 3 years before fruit will begin to grow! The children thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon…
Red Nose Day
We had a fantastic morning learning about RND and having our work experience students paint our noses.
Invasion games Hockey
The children enjoyed getting outside for PE. We looked at the skills of dribbling, pushing and controlling the ball in hockey! Great teamwork.
Number bonds - Year 2
We love starting our PE sessions with some quick recall in mathematics! Today we played the quick draw game when we had to shoot with a number. Our friend then had to fire back with the matching bond to 10. Great work year 2!
Year 6 STEM visit to Furness College
Year 6 enjoyed a visit to Furness College where they explored different stalls and took part in various experiments and activities. All the children were keen to get involved and learn; we definitely have some future engineers and scientists among us! The afternoon concluded with a wacky science…
