Well done year 4, you did a brilliant performance of Twelfth Night on Friday, it made me and Mrs Treadwell laugh a lot. 

We worked really hard in Numeracy this week and created lots of repeating patterns! 

Looking forward to continuing our work on travelling in P.E. We have followed lines and followed maps. Next challenge is to travel around, over, under and through some apparatus.

We are very busy in Year 1! This week we are estimating in Numeracy, using the story Jaspers Beanstalk in Literacy and learning about families and neighbours in our Topic. 

Just a reminder that we will be holding a short phonics meeting in the classroom at 3.30pm on Wednesday.  This informal meeting is just to keep you updated about our Letters and Sounds programme and how you can best support your child at home with their reading.  It's an exciting time in Reception…

We have started to look at books written by Satoshi Kitamura. This is one of our alternative endings to his book 'Igor: The Bird who couldn't sing'

Year 5 are working with Ian Honeyman, (a well known classical singer) and his wife Sophie to perform a short music theatre piece. Performances will be in November. Watch this space for more details....
