Skipping
We had George come to teach us some different skipping techniques. He also told us about perseverance. If we make a mistake, we try again!
Skipping Day
We had a lot of fun learning how to skip today with George.
Pond dipping
We have spent a lovely afternoon pond dipping, we saw tadpoles and frogs and learned all about the life cycle of a frog. We are looking forward to checking the pond again in a few weeks to see if things have changed.
Making flour
We have spent a very exciting afternoon using stone age tools (stones) to turn oats into flour. We realised how difficult life must have been back then and how easy we have it today.
Beebot
Year 1 were amazing this morning during our Beebot workshop. Everyone programmed their own Beebot robot to move around the classroom and on different games. Well done year 1, very proud of you.
Star wars
We had so much fun learning about forces and playing Star Wars last Wednesday.
Greek Food Tasting
As part of our Geography work on Greece, we had a Greek food tasting session today.
There were some mixed reactions!
Investigating Friction
We investigated friction by testing how far a toy car would travel on different surfaces.

Roman Shields
We have used up all the red and yellow paper in school making our Roman Shields!
