Measuring using cubes
We measured items in our classroom using cubes. We now know that estimating means having a sensible guess and we estimated then checked to see how close we were.
We're Going on a Bear Hunt
We had such fun in our English lesson. Mrs Redhead set us a treasure hunt and we had to read the rhymes and follow the clues. We found them with Rusty the dog, at the picnic table, in nursery's playhouse, on the fort and then the treasure was our new book for English - We're Going on a Bear Hunt'.…

We have had an exciting afternoon discussing the pros and cons of the mesolithic and neolithic.

Year 1 Roald Dahl day
We had great fun today for Roald Dahl's birthday. We made these fizzy-lifter drinks just like the ones from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory!
