Practicing our stone age dance 

We have been exploring parts of the Stone Age through dance in preparation for the U dance festival next month

Last week in RE, Year 5 looked at the different images of Buddha. The children picked their favourite image and had a go at posing in that position which they wrote about in their books!

We have been exploring characters through discussion and reading to understand why they act the way they do 

We decided to use this brilliaint piece of writing to steal ideas to improve everyone's writing

Year 4 have been learning about slow writing and wrote some gorgeous pieces about a short film called Chaperone Rouge. 

Year 6 took part in a fantastic Nuclear Engineering Workshop with Dr Irene Wise from Lancaster University.  Their first task was to see how they could fit through a piece of A4 paper!! Super fun and extremely interesting.  A big thank you to Irene from us all.

We have learnt lots of facts about Brazil. We have sketched the Christ the Redeemer statue, which is in Rio de Janeiro. Next time you're in school pop in and see our display in the hall.
