A fabulous day at Walney Nature Reserve with a brilliant class. We didn’t spot many seals but we played in the dunes, went on a bug hunt and had a wonderful walk

Today in English we have been investigating the surface of Mars and the impact meteorites can have on the surface of a planet. Excellent science through English.

We are so very lucky, the author S F Said has sent us copy of his new book Tyger and dedicated it to the children of Roose School.

RE. Hinduism and reincarnation
We have been learning about Hindu beliefs around reincarnation and what happens to the soul. Year 5 worked on some creative pieces about what they think happens to the soul.
