We have had a fantastic day at Ulverston Victoria High School. The children were brilliant and did lots of exciting things. Many thanks to Mr Butler and all the children and staff who helped us. It was lovely to see some familiar faces too.

We had a wonderful poetry morning with Anna, the poet in residence from the Wordsworth Trust. We wrote some amazing poetry of our own.

The Eco Council had a great time at the composting workshop at Barrow Library today. We learned a lot about what we should and shouldn't compost and we would now like a wormery!

We have been exploring the book The Rabbits by John Marsden and Shaun Tan and using aboriginal art to show the changes which happened to Australia after the Europeans arrived.
