In year 2 we are really thinking about how we can be the best we can be! Whether that is being super resilient when it comes to writing, having a good growth mindset during maths, being the best friend that we can be and looking after our own mental health. We have a few mottos in year 2 that we are enjoying and learning from “teamwork makes the dreamwork” and “work hard, play hard” and “It’s good to talk”. On Friday’s after outdoor PE we are rewarded for all our hard work and are lucky enough to have the most amazing grounds and facilities on the field. The children can choose whatever they wish to do, with their friends on the field. Of course a lot of the children choose football, some choose to relax, climb, draw, chat or even make daisy chains. After all the hard work during the week it is great to have the time to play!
