We started our Christmas decorations today.  The concentration and smiles on everyone's faces was brilliant.  It started with I can't do this...YET!  But, after a short while we had comments of, "Oh so a blanket stitch is just a whip stitch, but go through it," and 

"I keep doing a whip stitch and I want to do a running stitch!"  They all persevered threading their needle (multiple times) and tying knots in the end.  Well done Year 6.  More pictures to follow as we did not all get chance to do it today.
