Year 1 have had great fun during science week. We planted seeds, broad beans, french marigolds, a blueberry bush and strawberry plants outside our classroom. We made bubbles and talked about how exercise affects our bodies. We washed our teddies to see which materials dried the quickest and discussed how to help things dry quickly. We experimented with different materials to make houses for the 3 little pigs. We looked at and then drew different bones with chalk on the playground. After all our revision for phonics too we enjoyed our treat of an ice-lolly on Friday afternoon.
